Washington/ New Delhi: Issuing fresh advisories to its citizens who are travelling to India, US government today asked them to munch peanuts while travelling via Indian trains. The fresh advisory was issued amid complaints that Indian people ogle continuously at foreigners with mysterious expression, making them feel uncomfortable, and disconnected from local people.

“I have traveled through length and breadth of India via trains…and all these brown guys do in trains is munch their favorite snack- peanuts. They would purchase hell lot of it, share it among those they know or don’t know, doesn\’t matter…and then start their munching session,” one state department official told Bluffallo on condition of anonymity.
“They will peel it off in synchronization with deafening sound, and then carpet bomb the floor of train with peanut-shells. They also ask for extra foul-odored salt-packets from the vendor and put it on their tongue in between, making strange faces…you\’ve got no clue what these crazy guys are upto! Munching peanuts with them is the best way to mix with them, and avoid getting unnecessary attention,” the official added.
Travel industry experts have welcomed this step, and are hoping this will further boost tourism in India and improve ‘Incredible India’ brand abroad.
The US state department official Bluffallo spoke to confirmed that their next advisory may be ‘putting smelly shoes on top of ceiling fans in train coaches’. It really works like a room freshener!
